Oh my – another column by News Media Canada and their hysterical, completely inaccurate position that somehow Google and Facebook are stealing news articles and columns from newspapers and publishing them wholesale on their news feeds. This time, it’s Jamie Irving who is spouting propaganda. Same old, same old. Just when is any TorStar newspaper going to have to guts to print an op-ed from someone who completely demolishes this nonsense once and for all? There have been plenty of rebuttals to the various op-eds from News Media Canada and their little pawns – so, why not publish just one point by point column that takes the other position? Cowards.
